Sunday tradition
My boyfriend and I have a tradition of going to Press each Sunday because it is fantastic! We’ve tried nearly everything on the menu at this point and love it all. My personal favorite is their cheeseburger and he loves their wings. The prices are very reasonable, too. The service is always fantastic and the staff couldn’t be nicer. Would definitely recommend trying it out if you haven’t!

tried and true
Press Grill is a tried and true option in the Short North. They have late night eats and that’s how I ended up there on my last visit.
The interior is small and dark, not a lot of space to maneuver, and they’re always busy. The reason for that is because they have something on the menu to satisfy everyone. Pizza, burgers, sammies, etc– I tried a really awesome salad with strawberries. A decent salad can be hard to find at 10pm and this one did not disappoint.

The best sandwich I’ve ever had
The Press Grill may look like an ordinary bar from the street, but once you taste your food, you will realize that you have found a gem.There are about 10 tables, eight of them are hightops. The service has always been quick and friendly. What really distinguishes them is the quality of the food. The best sandwich I’ve ever had is on their menu. You definitely should give it a try. It is the chicken pesto sandwich.

truly a great casual place to eat
Matt and I are biased, as we had our first date here, but this is truly a great casual place to eat. The food is several cuts above what you expect from a “bar and grill.” We especially recommend the Mac and cheese, the meatloaf, and the coneys. The staff is super, friendly and attentive. The place is small, but they don’t mind if you linger. This is just a warm, friendly place to enjoy a meal with friends or family.

lovely secret!
This full-on local is a well-kept secret. We had a delicious late lunch that was super affordable. The service was amazingly attentive and they accommodated every special request we had. Love it there.

a solid bet
Situated in the Short North, a popular social and tourist area, Press Grill presents a wide variety of comfort food that is well prepared and reasonably priced. Small and cozy bar and grill… hardy servings at a reasonable price across a wide range of dishes that will fill you up more affordably than just about any other restaurant in the area. Good burgers, a generously sized steak, buffalo wings – they were all good and brunch here is a solid bet too. Service is fast and friendly.

great Short North classic
My wife and I have been going here for 15 years. This is one of the few remaining classic Short North bars that are still operating from the good old days. Now that we have kids (ages 9 and 13) we bring them here for dinner as well. We’ve tried a lot on the menu. This place is what you want a local neighborhood bar to be.

really enjoyed our time
My husband and I were able to snag a table Friday evening for a couple drinks and a sandwich. The atmosphere is low-light and relaxing. Our server was great as well as the food. We really enjoyed our time.
